Alesi still considering DTM

On the contrary to earlier reports – Jean Alesi is still considering DTM 2007. Recently we reported about Alesi leaving the series after the last race of this season. Apparently the plan to be team leader of the new F1-team Direxiv has failed.

“I want to race next year,” Alesi said to Autosport. “Nothing is excluded for me, including DTM. Currently I have no engagement in place with anybody, so I don’t know where I will be yet.”

However, on his website, Jean Alesi made a complete different statement. “I will end my participation in the DTM championship at the end of the year. Now it is not bad news… I will indeed be present in competition next year. I will tell you a little more about my program in the days to come… a little patience and a big thank you for all for all your support”, Alesi said.
