Green takes Zandvoort pole

Jamie Green took pole position today at Zandvoort. The top four cars were very close with only 0.113 seconds covering them. Tom Kristensen took second place ahead of Martin Tomczyk and Mattias Ekström. Fifth placed Bruno Spengler was distanced with little over halv a second.

The gap between Tom Kristensen and Jamie Green was very small, only 0.075 second. But the time of Green was impressive keeping in mind that he has 20 more kilos in his car compared to the Audi-mafia behind him.

Championship leader Bernd Schneider had to settle for seventh position behind ex. F1-racer Heinz-Harald Frentzen. Christian Abt, who was quickest during the final practice, was as far down as 12:th.

Stay tuned for comments from the drivers.

The race starts at 14.00 CET tomorrow!
