Nicolas Kiesa breakes his leg

Danish DTM-driver Nicolas Kiesa has broken his right leg during a day of motorcross. Despite this injury, Kiesa is determined to race at Le Mans in two weeks. He will do this with a metal plate in his leg.

Kiesa started driving in DTM at the Nürburgring, replacing Dutchman Jeroen Bleekemolen. Despite Bleekemolen setting remarkable results, problems with sponsoring forced him to give up his seat, giving Kiesa a chance. If Kiesa won’t be able to drive, Bleekemolen already said he’s available to drive.

Nicolas Kiesa isn’t the first Danish DTM-driver to brake his leg. In 1996, Mercedes-driver Jan Magnussen broke his leg when he fall of his scooter at the Norisring. He was out for six weeks.
