First Le Mans testing session

The first test session of the DTM-weekend at Le Mans met the two championship contenders right in the top. Kristensen was fastest with Schneider right behind him, only 0.171 seconds behind. Audi-newcomer and STCC-champion Thed Björk impressed big by being third fastest ahead of Ekström in fourth.

There is a lot of talk in the paddocks about the newcomer Thed Björk. He lapped the circuit only 0.228 seconds slower than Kristensen. Björk is replacing Nicolas Kiesa in the Futurecom TME team.
