Nicolas Kiesa on the way back

Nicolas Kiesa tested his FutureCom TME Audi A4 ahead of the last DTM race of 2006 at Hockenheimring. Kiesa who was injured in a sports-accident some days after the DTM race at Circuit de Catalunya tested his abilities in the car and everything worked out perfectly. Kiesa also tested if he could get out of the car in less than seven seconds as regulations demand, and Kiesa managed it in 5.5 secs.

Later today a medical check-up will clarify if Nicolas Kiesa is ready to race this week end.

“I don’t jump up and down staircases just yet, but driving the DTM Audi i no problem. In fact, it’s easier than driving my road car”, Says an optimistic Kiesa.

If everything goes well, Kiesa is back on the race track already in Fridays first test sessions prior to the qualifying Saturday, and the race Sunday at Hockenheimring in Baden-Württemberg of southern Germany.
