Björk confirmed to replace Kiesa

What we speculated in earlier is now confirmed – Thed Björk will replace Nicolas Kiesa at the Hockenheim DTM finale. Kiesa was not allowed to race after another medical examination. Previously he injured his leg in a motocross accident.

Björk made his DTM debut during the last DTM round at Le Mans. The Swede finished 14:th after a strong race for a first time in a DTM-car.

“This is a fantastic opportunity for me to show what I can do. I have wanted to be in DTM all my life and now I am going to go for it,” a very happy Björk said when he first knew that he was going to replace Kiesa.
