Jean Alesi quits DTM after 2006

Frenchman Jean Alesi has anounced his retirement from DTM today. Alesi won’t retire from racing, but says he’s ready for a new challenge.

“I’m going to race in an other serie”, Alesi said. His exact plans aren’t official yet. The Frenchman will anounce his future plans within two weeks, although he’ll most likely participate in the 24 hours of Le Mans and the Le Mans Series (LMS) with Peugeot.
