Kiesa will not race at Hockenheim

There will be no Nicolas Kiesa in the final DTM race of the year at Hockenheim. The Dane went through yet another medical examination and was not approved to race. Most likely STCC-champion Thed Björk will stand in for him again.

“I did everything he (the race doctor) asked me to do, but still he found that I was not in a condition to race this week end. I must say that I am disapointed as I hoped to make a good performance in this last race of the year, but if the doctor says it’s not safe, it’s better that I don’t drive – after all, safety comes first for me and for my colleagues in racing”, Kiesa said.
