Who is the final Audi-driver?

The saga about the last remaining DTM Audi seat seems to be getting to its end. Many drivers have been rumoured to get the seat, but recent indications points out that it will be a British driver. Adam Carroll, Oliver Jarvis and Danny Watts have been named as candidates.

Currently Audi have seven drivers ready for the coming season. Ekström, Kristensen, Tomczyk, Scheider, Abt, Luhr and Rockenfeller. The first three, Ekström, Kristensen and Tomczyk will be driving 2007 spec’ Audi A4 while it is still unclear what type of cars the others will drive.

The reigning STCC champion Thed Björk who earlier was mentioned as a likely driver for the final seat seems to stay in the STCC for 2007, lining up with his team boss Tommy Kristoffersson.
