Big honour for Barcelona’s racetrack: ITR e.V., rights holder and promoter of DTM, awards the Circuit de Catalunya the accolade ‘DTM organiser of the year 2006’. The Spanish circuit is the first DTM host in the sport’s history to be honoured as ‘Organiser of the year’ for the debut edition of its race. “All those involved were massively impressed by the event at Barcelona,” said ITR e.V. The Circuit de Catalunya officially will be honoured within the scope of the DTM Launch. In the past two years, the ADAC Berlin/Brandenburg – host of the DTM round held at the EuroSpeedway Lausitz – was awarded the accolade.
