Bruno Spengler appeal rejected

The DTM Mercedes team have had their appeal rejected on Bruno Spengler’s penalty from Hockenheim by the governing body of German motorsport. Spengler got penalised out from his podium finish after taking out Timo Scheider on the last lap.

Despite losing valueable points Spengler still feels that he is in for the title battle.

“We have been lucky that we have had two different winners,” Spengler told Autosport. “We are only 12 points behind, and we can make that gap back.”
