Scheider to serve beer to fans

Audi works driver came up with a very special idea, for his home race held at the Nürburgring. On Saturday evening, at the campsite located opposite to grandstand T4, the native Lahnsteiner is going to serve 1,000 litres of free beer for his fans. The activity will start at 20.00hrs and represents a perfect kick-off for the further course of the night.

Scheider grew up in the close environment of the rich in tradition circuit. From his hometown, Lahnstein near Koblenz, the trip to the Nürburgring takes you less than an hour. “I grew up in the region, therefore, the Nürburgring races represent a highlight for me, year by year,” says Scheider.

“Particularly as they are attended by many of my friends and acquaintances.”
Scheider has set himself ambitious goals for the eighth round of the 2007 DTM season. “In consideration of the competitiveness we displayed at Zandvoort, I feel a lot of confidence regarding the Nürburgring round. Maybe I succeed in finally securing my longed for podium finish, there.”
