DTM changes weights for final race

The DMSB’s (Deutscher Motorsport Bund, German Motor Racing Association) executive board has redefined the weight distribution for the DTM cars, taking into account the Barcelona results. The basis used for the redefinition of the weight distribution was the order of cars when they crossed the line at the end of lap 46 of the DTM round held at Barcelona.

Consequently, the following weight regulations will be applied for the DTM season finale, held from 12th to 14th October at the Hockenheimring Baden-Württemberg:

Mercedes 2007 1075 kg
Audi 2007 1065 kg
Mercedes 2006 1060 kg
Audi 2006 1055 kg
Mercedes 2005 1055 kg
Audi 2005 1030 kg
