Only two more drivers have been confirmed for the remaining six cars. Alexandre Prémat and Mike Rockenfeller will continue in the Phoenix and Rosberg teams while their team mates are yet to be announced.
Drivers who are confirmed to leave the Audi team are Lucas Luhr and Vanina Ickx. Luhr will switch from DTM to sportscar with Audi, driving the R10 TDI next season.
Regarding the new Audi A4 being built in DTM spec’ Audi Motorsport boss Dr. Wolfgang Ullrich is confident.
“Quite obviously the target in the DTM is to make a successful title defence. The new A4 road car is a big step forwards and it had already won many benchmark tests and important awards before its market launch. We will do everything possible to put a race car on the track that will do justice to the production car’s reputation.”
