Mika Häkkinen divorces Erja

Former Formula 1 world champion and winner of three DTM races Mika Häkkinen is going to divorce his wife Erja after ten years of being together. The manager of the 39-year old Häkkinen, Didier Coton, has announced this. The couple seperates in friendship.

The Finnish driver retired from F1 in 2001 to spent more time with his family; wife Erja, son Hugo of five years old and daughter Aina-Julia, two years old. After four years he came back to racing, driving in DTM with Mercedes. He raced three seasons and 31 races in DTM, before retiring three months ago.
