Audi dominates free practice session

Timo Scheider topped the first free practice session at Hockenheim today. His best time was 1:33.080 with his team mate Martin Tomczyk 0.328 seconds behind. And Audi held all top four positions with champion Ekström third and Tom Kristensen fourth.

Paul di Resta continued being best Mercedes-driver with fifth fastest time, 0.545 seconds adrift from the best time.

DTM-newcomer Ralf Schumacher was 1.515 seconds off the best time. The German completed only 16 laps during this session.

The conditions today were better compared to yesterday when the track was wet. Stay tuned for the qualifying session!
