Another fastest lap for Timo Scheider
In the last practise session before qualifying for the second round of the DTM, Audi driver Timo Scheider has set another fastest lap. The German was already the fastest man on the Oschersleben track yesterday during the first and second testing session. Mattias Ekström, also driving an Audi A4 DTM, claimed second position during this mornings free practise. Paul di Resta was the first of the Mercedes drivers in third.
Newcomer Oliver Jarvis was the fastest man in a 2007 spec car. He did a lap in 1:22.171, over half a second slower than Timo Scheider, but good enough to claim seventh position.
Qualifying for tommorows race at the Oschersleben Motorsport Arena will start this afternoon at 13:30 CET.
