Ekström fastest in first Mugello test
Mattias Ekström has set the fastest time in the morning test session at Mugello today. The Swedish Audi pilot set a lap of 1:44.651, over three tenths faster than his closest rival, Timo Scheider. The winner of the race in Oschersleben posted a time of 1:44.962.
Jamie Green was the fastest driver in a Mercdedes, posting third fastest time at the Italian track. The Brit set a lap of 1:45.410 and was closely followed by Tom Kristensen in fourth (1:45.571) and Bruno Spengler in fifth (1:45.614).
The second test session will start at 14:45 CET.
