Paul di Resta fastest man in second test

Paul di Resta has set the fastest time in the second test session of today at Mugello. The Scottish driver only just took fast time, setting his time in the final minute of the session and a mere 0.074s faster than Mattias Ekström. The Swede had set the fastest time in the first session of today and had fastest time untill just before the second test session ended.

Di Resta’s teammate Bernd Schneider posted the third fastest time. The Mercedes driver was just over a tenth slower than his younger team collegue. Timo Scheider was fourth fastest in his Audi A4 DTM.

Markus Winkelhock was the fastest driver in a 2007 DTM car, posting fifth fastest time. Christijan Albers set 13th fastest time, making him the fastest driver in a 2006 car. His team mate Katherine Legge was 15th fastest.
