Spengler fastest man of the day
Bruno Spengler has set the fastest time of the day during the second test at the Norisring. With a lap time of 48.387 seconds the Canadian took away first place from Bernd Schneider in the final seconds, who had been the fastest man during almost the entire session. Mattias Ekström, fastest man in the morning test session, finished in fourth, just behind Mercedes driver Gary Paffett.
The times during the second session were very close together. There were just eight tenths of a second between first man Bruno Spengler and Sussie Stoddart in last.
Dutchman Christijan Albers couldn’t repeat his good performance from the morning session, where he finished in fifth. During the second test of the day he did manage to get three tenths of from his morning time, but it meant he only finished the session in 15th.
