Paul di Resta fights back in second test

While Timo Scheider was second fastest in the first test, title contender Paul di Resta fought back in the second test by being fastest. The Mercedes-driver lapped the track in 1:32.782, a time no one could match. Martin Tomczyk, who was fastest in the first test, was second in this test ahead of Mattias Ekström.

Timo Scheider fell down two places compared to the previous test and was classified fourth in this one, ahead of Tom Kristensen and Bruno Spengler.

Jamie Green and Bernd Schneider followed each other closely and finished seventh and eight respectively. Schneider who is retiring after this race enjoyed his final couple of practice sessions.

Gary Paffet and Oliver Jarvis completed top ten.
