Timo Scheider given ADAC-award

Timo Scheider has been awarded ADAC Motor Racing of the year. The 2008 champion was up against Formula One-driver Sebastian Vettel. The award ceremony will be held on 22nd November in Munich during the ADAC SportGala. Nine jury members, journalists and members of ADAC Sports Committee, stood behind the selection.

The ADAC Motor Racer of the Year Award has been run since 1980, the first award was given to rallying legend Walter Röhrl, with Christian Geistdörfer.
