Spengler on top at last testing day

During the last day of testing held at Dijon-Prenois it was Bruno Spengler that was the fastest man at the end of the day. Because of the bad weather he drove his best lap in a time of 1:19,457, almost ten seconds slower than yesterdays best time. It rained the whole day at the French track, enabling the drivers to get test their car in wet circumstances as well, after the sunshine of the past two days.

Mercedes seemed to be dealing best with these conditions, as Spengler’s team mate Paul di Resta was second, only 0.038s behind. Audi was over half a second down on the fastest time, with Tom Kristensen as best Audi driver in third.

The teams and drivers now get ready for the season presentation that is going to be held at Düsseldorf this coming weekend. After that there will be more testing, starting on April 27th at Hockenheim.
