Timo Scheider tops day two at Dijon
The second day of testing at Dijon-Prenois in France saw reigning champion Timo Scheider setting the fastest time. The German lowered the best time from the first day with almost half a second. Team mate Markus Winkelhock was second fastet, three tenths behind Schieder.
Alexandre Prémat made it an Audi 1-2-3 in third with a time that was only 0.031 seconds behind his team mate Winkelhock.
Best Mercedes driver was the Brit Gary Paffet in fourth after having completed 130 laps during the day.
Paffet was one tenth faster than Le Mans legend and Audi driver Tom Kristensen.
Previous Formula One star Ralf Schumacher, who has got a 2009 specification Mercedes C-Class for this year, was sixth fastest ahead of Martin Tomczyk and Jamie Green.
Mathias Lauda and Susie Stoddard completed top ten. Testing continues tomorrow at Dijon-Prenois.
