Hockenheimring test picture special

The German Touring Car Championship, the DTM, has had their first official battle. During a four day test at the Hockenheimring in Germany the drivers had their first go in the DTM cars that will race in 2009.

The drivers were faced with changing weather conditions. During the first two days it was Audi who finished the day at the top of the standings, during the last two days Mercedes had that pleasure.

All drivers that will race in the DTM this season were on track this week. They lapped a total of 3,898 laps, which makes it a total of 21,341.55 kilometers.
