Prémat heads Audi 1-2-3 at Lausitzring

Alexandre Prémat has started the Deutsche Tourenwagen Masters weekend at Eurospeedway Lausitz fastest. The Frenchman headed a Audi 1-2-3 with Oliver Jarvis and reigning champion Timo Scheider in second and third. Best Mercedes driver was Jamie Green in fourth, 0.225 seconds behind Prémat.

Previous race winner Tom Kristensen was fifth fastest ahead fellow Scandinavian Mattias Ekström in sixth.

Paul Di Resta was second best Mercedes driver in seventh ahead of Martin Tomczyk in the Red Bull Cola sponsored Audi A4.

Maro Engel was ninth ahead of Mike Rockenfeller who rounded off top ten.

Audi continues the domination of the DTM by taking seven places of top ten.
