Scheider ahead of Kristensen in warm up

Timo Scheider was fastest in the morning warm up at Oschersleben ahead of pole man Tom Kristensen. The reigning champion has a margin of more than three tenths down to the Dane. The Audi dominance continued with the four rings on all top five places.

Martin Tomczyk was third fastest ahead of Mattias Ekström and Oliver Jarvis.

Best Mercedes driver was once again Bruno Spengler. The Canadian was barely within one second of the best time, 0.990 seconds.

Seventh fastest was Mercedes man Jamie Green, just outside one second behind Scheider.

Markus Winkelhock was eight ahead of Paul Di Resta and Mike Rockenfeller.
