Ekström pleased with fifth straight podium

Mattias Ekström secured his fifth straight podium finish in the Deutsche Tourenwagen Masters at Nürburgring last weekend. The Swede was pleased with the weekend.
“The race at Nürburgring was a perfect weekend for Audi and for my self,” said Ekström.

The winner of the race was Ekström’s team mate Martin Tomczyk, something Ekström was especially happy over.

“I am really happy for Martin as he have had a long time without and great results. A well deserved win,” said Ekström.

Next time the DTM clashes again is on the first weekend in September at Brands Hatch. Ekström is going to prepare him self for that race with fitness training.

“I am going to have a couple of days with relaxing and after that start the fitness training again,” said Ekström.
