Lewis Hamilton to attend DTM at Brands

Reigning Formula 1 champion Lewis Hamilton be at Brands Hatch for the next round of the DTM, to support his Mercedes-Benz colleagues by taking part in a live interview session and a circuit parade in a Mercedes-Benz road car.

Hamilton was a regular on the DTM tour during 2004-2005 as he raced for Manor Motorsport in the supporting Formula 3 Euro Series.

Lewis Hamilton said: “It’s great to be going back to the DTM at Brands Hatch again this year; it is always fantastic to have the opportunity to spend time with British motorsport fans and thank them for their support.”

“I raced in the support series for DTM, F3 Euro Series, for two seasons so had the opportunity to watch most of the races at that time and DTM always sees lots of drama, overtaking and I would definitely recommend it as a good family day out”.
