Tom Kristensen tops Dijon practice

Tom Kristensen topped the first free practice session at the Dijon circuit in France. The Dane lapped the very fast circuit in 1:10.500, one tenth faster than his fellow Audi driver Mattias Ekström.

It was no less than six Audi’s at the top of the time sheets.

Reigning champion Timo Scheider was third fastest ahead of Oliver Jarvis, Markus Winkelhock and Maro Engel.

Best Mercedes driver was Gary Paffett in seventh position, almost eight tenths of a second behind Kristensen’s time.

Mathias Laudia was eight fastest ahead of Alexandre Prémat and Katherine Legge.
