Timo Scheider heads final warm-up

Reigning champion Timo Scheider topped the final morning warm up of the season 2009. The Audi man lapped the track in 1:49.882, which was one tenth faster than Mike Rockenfeller. Alexandre Prémat claimed third fastest time in his older Audi A4.

Audi Sport Team Abt Sportsline team mates Martin Tomczyk and Mattias Ekström follwed in fourth and fifth.

Oliver Jarvis was sixth fastest, right ahead of top Mercedes driver Jamie Green in seventh.

Tom Kristensen completed his final ever DTM warm up session in eight ahead of Markus Winkelhock.

Gary Paffet was tenth fastest, over one second slower than his championship rival Scheider, and the Brit has got a lot to do today to try and snatch the title.
