Paffett and di Resta set to miss DTM test
Mercedes drivers Gary Paffett and Paul di Resta are set to miss the first official Deutsche Tourenwagen Masters test at Valencia in Spain due to their Formula One duties.
“We’ve done some testing already and I’m happy with the car. It’s the same car as last year so I’m happy it’s not going to affect us,” said Paffett to Autosport.
The both are going to be away with their respective F1 teams, McLaren for Paffett and Force India for di Resta, ahead of the Australian GP.
The DTM test starts tomorrow and runs until the 27th of March. di Resta is, just as Paffett, not worried over missing the test.
“I know the car well and hopefully Valencia won’t be the hardest track to learn. It’s not a problem,” said di Resta.
