Tomczyk tops second practise

German Martin Tomczyk has set the fastest time during the second practise session for the season opener at Hockenheim. The Audi driver was two tenths quicker than his team mate Alexandre Prémat.

Fastest Mercedes driver was Bruno Spengler in third, just 0.02s slower than Prémat.

Yesterdays fastest man Timo Scheider ended the session in fourth, doing a 1:32.800, which was still eight tenths faster than his best time of yesterday.

Miguel Molina was the best of the new comers. He set the 11th fastest time, just over 8.5 tenths of Tomczyk’s time. CongFu Cheng and David Coulthard finished in 14th and 15th respectively.
