Rockenfeller tops first EuroSpeedway test

Mike Rockenfeller was fastest in the first free practice at EuroSpeedway today. The Audi driver lapped the track 1:19.770, one tenth ahead of reigning champion Timo Scheider and best Mercedes driver Maro Engel in third, one tenth further behind.

Alexandre Prémat was fourth fastest ahead of Susie Stoddart and David Coulthard.

Previous race winner Mattias Ekström was seventh fastest, just below six tenths behind Rockenfeller’s time.

Martin Tomczyk, Bruno Spengler and Oliver Jarvis rounded off top ten.
