Paul Di Resta on pole for Eurospeedway
Paul Di Resta has taken pole position for the third round of the DTM at Lausitz – starting ahead of fellow Mercedes-Benz driver, and championship leader Bruno Spengler.
Mattias Ekstrom, with rumours abound he’ll be racing in NASCAR in two weeks, was third and the top of the Audi’s.
David Coulthard showed great progess in the Deutsche Post Mercedes-Benz C-Klasse, by qualifying in eighth place – getting through the final qualifying segment, although he didn’t set a competitive time in that segment.
Former F1 rival Ralf Schumacher, was unable to progress out of the first qualifying segment and will start 17th.
