Mercedes continue to set the pace in warm-up

Bruno Spengler led the way in Sunday morning’s warm-up at the EuroSpeedway Lausitz. The Canadian set a time of 1:19.782 to head teammate Jamie Green by just 0.044 seconds, with fellow Mercedes-Benz driver Maro Engel in third.

Pole position man Paul Di Resta took fifth, with reigning DTM Champion Timo Scheider squeezing between Engel and Di Resta to be the top placed Audi.

David Coulthard continued his strong weekend that saw him qualify eighth, by recording the sixth fastest lap in hot, sunny conditions, just 0.408 seconds behind Spengler, as just one second covered the entire grid.
