Jamie Green fastest in morning warm up

Mercedes driver Jamie Green was fastest in the morning warm up session at Norisring. The session was run in considerably cooler conditions compared to yesterday. Green’s fastest time was 49.188, one tenth faster than Timo Scheider in second.

Scheider headed four Audi-drivers with Mike Rockenfeller in third, Mattias Ekström fourth, Martin Tomczyk fifth and Alexandre Prémat sixth.

David Coulthard was eight fastest ahead of Maro Engel and Bruno Spengler.

Pole position man Ralf Schumacher was 13th fastest, seven tenths behind Green.
