Rain chaos delays racing at Nürburgring

Torrential rain has delayed the action for the Deutsche Tourenwagen Masters at Nürburgring. The warm-up was scheduled to start at 09.30 CET, but so far no cars have been on the track and two support races have been cancelled.

The weather is often tricky around the Nürburgring with conditions changing extremely fast, torrential rain one minute and blazing sunshine the next.

The DTM race is scheduled to start at 14.00, but so far nothing has been said whether it is going to be started as usual.

All test and qualifying sessions earlier this weekend were run in dry conditions, making it tricky for the teams to find the right setup for today if the track stays wet.
