Audi heads Zandvoort first free practice

Alexandre Prémat was fastest driver in the first free practice at Zandvoort. His time of 1:33.274 was half a second faster than fellow Audi drivers Mike Rockenfeller and Mattias Ekström.

Maro Engel was fastest of the Mercedes drivers in fourth ahead of reigning champion Timo Scheider.

Markus Winkelhock headed another three Audi drivers with Martin Tomczyk seventh and Oliver Jarvis eight. Susie Stoddart and Gary Paffett rounded off top ten.

Championship leader Bruno Spengler was 13th fastest, 1.5 seconds behind Prémat.
