Timo Scheider claims first pole of 2010
Timo Scheider claimed his first pole position of the Deutsche Tourenwagen Masters 2010 season. The reigning champion claimed pole in style, seven tenth faster than his closest rival: Gary Paffett of Mercedes.
Paul Di Resta made it two Mercedes in the top three, ahead of an impressive Miguel Molina in fourth.
Mattias Ekström, who was fastest with a good margin in the previous test session, only managed fifth ahead of his manufacturer colleague Oliver Jarvis.
Championship leader Bruno Spengler qualified seventh ahead of Ralf Schumacher and Mike Rockenfeller. Martin Tomczyk was the last man to get in to top ten.
