Zandvoort results provisional because of Scheider

The results of the Deutsche Tourenwagen Masters race at Zandvoort remain provisional because of the tyres of Timo Scheider. The reigning champion finished third in the race today after stalling on the grid and performing a strong drive through the field.

It was found in the technical controls after the race that the mandatory identification bar code was missing on one of the Dunlop tyres of Scheider’s Audi A4.

The series organizers have announced that they are going to analyze the tyre before confirming the final result.

The official result is going to be published within a couple of days.
