Ekström heads five Audis in Brands test

Mattias Ekström headed five Audi’s in the first test at Brands Hatch. The Swede was just two 0.020 seconds from breaking the 41 second barrier around the fast and short British track.

Second fastest was reigning champion Timo Scheider, just 0.061 seconds behind.

Spanish Audi-driver keeps impressing and was third fastest, just five thousands of a second ahead of Alexandre Prémat.

Fifth fastest was Markus Winkelhock ahead of the top Mercedes-driver. Gary Paffett. Paul Di Resta rounded off top six, two tenths slower than Ekström.
