Scheider leads Audi top four in free practice

Timo Scheider lead a quartet of Audi A4’s in the Friday free practice session at Oschersleben, with Mattias Ekstrom second and Paul Di Resta the top Mercedes driver.

The reigning champion set a 1:23.071 to come out of the session fastest, with the top 13 cars covered by one second.

Championship leader Bruno Spengler was sixth fastest, just behind his Mercedes-Benz team mate Di Resta.

Miguel Molina continued his impressive form of late, and was fourth fastest, just behind the three newer specification Audi A4’s of team mates Scheider, Ekstrom and Jarvis.
