Di Resta on pole at Oschersleben

Paul Di Resta has claimed his third pole of 2010 in his Mercedes-Benz, ahead of team mate Bruno Spengler and the Audi of Mike Rockenfeller.

“Getting the car to work well was difficult today. After the first heat of the shoot-out qualifying, we still weren’t happy,” said Di Resta.

“Then, we made some significant changes and after that, the car was just running perfectly. I hope that we can score many points in the battle for the title tomorrow.”

Rockenfeller was delighted to be the highest placed Audi driver, running in the older 2008-spec car. He will start ahead of teammates Timo Scheider, Martin Tomczyk and Mattias Ekstrom.
