Alexandre Prémat tops Adria first test

Audi Sport Team Phoenix-driver Alexandre Prémat topped the first test session at Adria in Italy. The Frenchman was the only driver to get below one minute eleven seconds. His closest opponent was team mate Mike Rockenfeller, 0.243 seconds behind.

David Coulthard impressed by being third fastest, just a couple of hundredths of a second behind Rockenfeller.

Maro Engel claimed fourth ahead of Jamie Green. The four Audi-drivers Miguel Molina, Mattias Ekström, Markus Winkelhock and Martin Tomczyk occupied positions six to nine.

Previous championship leader Bruno Spengler rounded off top ten, while current championship leader and winner of the three previous races Paul Di Resta only managed 16th fastest.
