Shanghai finale underway – roll out completed

The Deutsche Tourenwagen Masters finale in Shanghai is underway. The drivers have completed a first roll out to get to know the all new track layout.

While no official times were published, the fastest laps were recorded to be just over a minute on the 2.456 kilometer long track.

The session was delayed because of cleaning work on the track, something Mercedes-driver Gary Paffett confirmed via his Twitter.

“Wow the grip level here in Shanghai is soooo low. Pedestrian crossings everywhere are like driving on ice!!! A bit bumpy but no worse than expected. Sunny but cold.”
