Wiesbaden set to host DTM launch again

Wiesbaden is going to host the official season launch of 2011 on the 10th of april.
“Last year already, as Wiesbaden hosted the opening event of the popular touring-car series for the first time, some 110,000 motorsport fans, car lovers, autograph hunters and interested people came to participate and enjoy motorsport up close and the varied show programme for young and old,” said the mayor of Wiesbaden, Dr. Helmut Müller.

Pit stop demonstration, racing on the streets and various stunt shows and displays of the manufacturers and series partners are on the schedule for the day.

“After the successful premiere in 2010, we are proud to be presenting this year’s launch event of the DTM with our city as a backdrop,” said Henning Wossidlo, managing director of the Kurhaus Wiesbaden GmbH.
