Timo Scheider fastest in another Audi 1-2-3

Timo Scheider headed another Audi 1-2-3 in second practice in the DTM season opener at Hockenheim. The double DTM-champion lapped the track in 1:33.627, almost two tenths ahead of Audi colleague Martin Tomczyk.

Ralf Schumacher was the best Mercedes driver in fourth place as Audi continues to set the pace at Hockenheim, and Schumacher was almost four tenths behind Scheider.

Six tenths covered top eight with Filip Albuqurque just edging out Swede Mattias Ekström for eight place.

Bruno Spengler failed to complete a single flying lap as the team struggled the car. The Canadian spent long periods in the pits as the team tried to fix the car. He seemed to have big problems with the front end under braking for the Spitzkehre hairpin
