Mike Rockenfeller heads first Nürburgring test
Mike Rockenfeller was fastest in the first test session at Nürburgring. The German lapped the legendary track in 1:25.372, close to three tenths faster than championship leader Bruno Spengler.
Former Formula One driver David Coulthard made it in to the top three, just 17 thousands of a second from Spengler.
Renger van der Zande and Mattias Ekström were fourth and fifth fastest respectively ahead of Maro Engel and Miguel Molina.
Timo Scheider was eighth fastest, just over half a second from the fastest time of the session, with Jamie Green and Martin Tomczyk rounding off top ten.
