Bruno Spengler fastest in Hockenheim warm up

Bruno Spengler was fastest in the warm up session at Hockenheim, taking his BMW M3 DTM around the track in 1:35.336. The time was 0.155 seconds faster than Jamie Green in second and 0.181 seconds faster than Timo Scheider in third, once again having three different manufacturers in the top three.

Gary Paffett was fourth fastest ahead of reigning champion Martin Tomczyk and pole man Mattias Ekström in sixth.

Christian Vietoris claimed seventh fastest time, just under half a second from Spengler’s time, ahead of Ralf Schumacher and Dirk Werner, while Mike Rockenfeller rounded off top ten.
